Vote-Calling To All U.S. Expats: If You Don´t Want Trump In, Vote Him Out!

Vote-Calling To All U.S. Expats: If You Don´t Want Trump In, Vote Him Out!

The activist group Avaaz who describe themselves as a “global civic movement” are calling out to an estimated 8 million, non-military U.S. citizens who are eligible, to register their on-line vote in the presidential election whilst living abroad   More than 70,000 are believed to be living in Costa Rica.

With just under two months to go, Avaaz are urging more voters to register before the cut-off registry date, October 11.  And although they are not paid by any political campaign, their message is clear; vote to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.

In 2012 only an estimated 12 percent ex-pats voted in the U.S presidential election, so their urgent call to muster as many as possible in their email of last week begins with, “Dear friends in Costa Rica, this is an incredible and new strategy so that all of US can come together to put a stop to Trump’s politics of hate, fear, sexism, and racism.”

The groups aim is to simplify the registry process in three easy steps, first asking for the voter’s information and polling district in the U.S.  Then voters can fill out an electronic form which can be faxed or emailed to their designated polling office to request an absentee ballot.

For those wishing to register before October 11, Avaaz link, with the headed title, “We can defeat Trump…..If 8 million Americans Abroad Vote” enables the eligible U.S expats to vote on-line in an easy format before the presidential election on November 8.

Regardless of individual political beliefs, this application is for all U.S citizens living abroad and promises to be the most controversial election in living history …..with whomever becomes the next 45th President of the United States?
