VAMOS COSTA RICA!  COPA AMÉRICA 2016 STARTS RIGHT HERE!

This Saturday Costa Rica´s “La Sele” begins it´s battle in the tournament Copa América, playing against Paraguay and here at Pura Vida Guide, we have our very own sports expert, Natalie, who will give her commentary throughout the matches, with an insight into what to expect.

The signs are looking good with Costa Rica beating Venezuela 2-1 last Friday in a friendly, before the start of the Copa América Tournament this coming week with the whole Nation cheering La Sele on June 4th………GO COSTA RICA!

The former Costa Rican international, who featured at the 1990 World Cup, was a long-time assistant for his former teammate Hernan Medford, before becoming a head coach himself at domestic giants Alajuelense. Known for a cautious, balanced and result-oriented tactical approach, “El Machillo” took over at the helm of Costa Rica in August 2015.
