UNIVERSAL EXPANDING, CREATING MORE JOBS IN COSTA RICA!

Costa Rican owned, Universal – is celebrating it´s 90th year in retail, with the expansion of three new stores in 2016.  The first project opened this June in the mall Desamparados Express, with two further department stores in Liberia, Central Avenue, and the Escazú Village.  This will bring the chains growth up from 11 to 14 stores by the end of the year.

This is good news for job-seekers with Universal´s plans to employ a further 200 people, increasing their payroll from 650 to 859 employees by December 2016.  For those interested in applying for work in the new Universal stores, they are holding an employment fair between the 28th and 29th July at the Columbus Center building in Paseo Colon, in the east gate on 38th Street, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Applicants should submit their updated resume, a recent photograph and two letters of recommendation.
