After four long years of waiting, Festival Imperial is back with one mighty bang! Organised by Cerveceria Costa Rica and their flagship beer Imperial, this will be their third edition of the Festival Imperial, and their biggest to-date! For the first time since the festival began in 2006, they will use the entire 30-hectare area inside the La Guácima racetrack for stages, parking spaces, bus stops and refreshment areas. The festival will feature two main stages that will alternate throughout the event, as one concert finishes on one stage, the next concert will commence on the other, thus keeping the festive spirit alive and the music flowing!

Pre-sale of the 1000, two-day passes sold out in a record 6 hours, so organisers issued a further batch with sold out in 2! If you weren’t lucky enough to nab yourself one of those, you’ll be pleased to hear that in 2 weeks, the one-day tickets will go on sale for $35,000 ($70).
Maroon 5, Björk and LMFAO will headline Festival Imperial 2012, followed by an impressive line-up of acts, both International and National. They will also feature non-musical attractions, including an arts and crafts market and souvenir stands.

Gustavo Pacheco, organizers of Florida Ice & Farm Co. (FIFCO) has promised, “We will transform La Guácima in a way that it will give all visitors the full festival experience from the moment they arrive. Everything will be more spacious and more comfortable,”
