Fatboy Slim in Costa Rica @ Club Vertigo

The English DJ, musician and producer, Norman Cook, known as Fatboy Slim, announced that he will be visiting Costa Rica for the first time on March 20th. Fatboy Slim will be on a Latin American tour, squeezing in a Costa Rica performance between his March 16th gig in Panama City and his March 23rd gig in Miami Beach. The rumors that have roamed the social networks have now become a reality…lucky for Costa Rica!

Fatboy Slim will play live at Club Vertigo, on Paseo Colón in central San José.

Fatboy Slim’s career has spanned over 16 years, with countless worldwide hits like The Rockafeller Skank, Praise You, Right Here Right Now and Weapon of Choice. Unlike many other electronic DJ’s, Fatboy Slim’s music crossed the electronic boundaries and broke into the mainstream rock and pop space bringing him worldwide recognition and making him a household name in the music industry.

He has won many awards, most notably from his video for Weapon of Choice, where the magnificent Christopher Walken took the stage dancing, winning six trophies at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2001, and a Grammy for best video in 2002.

More notably, Fatboy Slim is known as a true performer, taking his music and unique style to Europe’s largest festivals including Coachella, Glastonbury and V Festival.

Tickets will go on sale March 1st in stores Urban Route (Heredia, Escazú, San Pedro) and Club Vertigo (Paseo Colón, from 9am to 5pm). Ticket prices have been confirmed and will cost 15,000 colones.

Fatboy Slim will start rockin the house with his DJ set at 12:30am
