Envision Festival Presents the Portland Community Tree Planting
Introducing Envision Experience Days – Giving our community members the opportunity to curate their own community-based activations that embody the values that Envision Festival represents. From beach clean up days and localized conservation efforts, to permaculture activations within your cities, we’re taking the show on the road to empower YOU!
On this leg of our journey, we find ourselves in Portland, Oregon.
Join us as we work together with Friends of Trees, Tualatin Riverkeepers, the City of Tigard and Clean Water Services at Cook Park. This planting is part of the Tree For All campaign which has planted over three million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed in the past decade! Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will be working together this season to continue the success of this program.
Our dear friends at Guayaki will be providing us some delicious Yerba Mate to fuels us through the day!
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee/mate, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes and get ready to have fun!
