Selva Bananito Eco Lodge
The Selva Bananito Eco Lodge is located in the upper watershed of the Bananito River south of Puerto Limón. The name Selva Bananito means ‘Jungle Little Banana’. The Lodge is on an old family farm and biological reserve.
Selva Banito offers rustic eco style cabins that stand on a ridge flanked by two rivers. From one side of the ridge you can see the Bananito River and valley with farm pastures and plantations which is ideal for bird watching. On the other side of the ridge you will see the beautiful Cerro Muchilla and the Amistad Biosphere, which borders the property.
Each Cabin is on stilts as typical Caribbean structures are built to increase views and ventilation. The Cabins are simple, with hammocks on the balconies for an unforgettable relaxing and tranquil experience. You can also enjoy many eco adventures within that Selva Bananito.
