Restaurante Marino Ballena
You can’t miss Restaurante Marino Ballena when you drive through Uvita, partly because Uvita town is on a few blocks long, and partly because Marino Ballena Restaurant is a very large roadside restaurant that sits adjacent to the main highway running through Uvita.
Restaurante Marino Ballena has been open since 2002, specializing in seafood and fine cuts of meat. The restaurant takes its name from the national park that it sits on the edge of.
Considering there was almost no business in that sector of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. However, Jorge Rojas and his family must have been quite a visionary to build the restaurant when there was very little in the area. The Castillo Delgado family has now been operating the restaurant since 2009.
As part of improvement projects and constant innovation, will open soon in our restaurant with an ice cream cone variety, slushies, popsicles, cold coffees, among others.
The Restaurante Marino Ballena also has a bar area for sipping cold beers or watching the latest sporting events. It is popular with locals in the area and a source of livelihood for the local economy.
