El Observatorio Bar
El Observatorio Bar in the California district of San José has become a popular place with locals for a night out and to enjoy live music and stand-up comedy. El Observatorio has 2 cozy areas within the bar as well as the main room with a stage that is used for the live music and comedy performances.
The Observatorio bar has created a special night on Wednesdays, called VIBES LIVE. Te night features Roots and Reggae events and promotes local Costa Rica bands that play music within this genre. The event is organized by the VIBES program of 911 Groovy.
The Observatorio also plays host to numerous band of varying genres. Each night, the bar offers a new event, whether it be rock band, salsa or DJ’s. If you are interested in seeing some live comedy in Costa Rica, El Observatorio bar also plays host to comedy nights.
All in all, the Observatory bar is a fun and social environment with relaxed casual dressed party goers.
