Crazy Monkey Bar
The Crazy Monkey Bar in Tamarindo is a local tourist hot spot. A few years back, the Crazy Monkey Bar was featured on “Wild on E! Costa Rica, which pretty much explains what to expect at a night out at this Tamarindo bar.
The Crazy Monkey bar is conveniently located in the Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas. The bar is an open aired bar concept with a pool bar, pool tables, 2 dance floors and live DJ’s throughout the week.
As the bar is located in the Vista Villas Best Western Hotel, it is not a late night bar, so it is usually the spot where many locals and tourists start their night. The Crazy Monkey has various special nights, including some of the better salsa nights in Tamarindo. One of their more popular nights is Fridays where they host ladies night. The Crazy Monkey also hosts live music events, fashion shows, and the well known yearly Pasarela Mi Costa Bella bikini show.
The Crazy Monkey has a daily Sunset Happy Hour from 5pm to 7pm.
