Borinquen Mountain Resort and Spa is a four star hotel that is surrounted by natural forests with magnificent views. The Borinquen is located in the mountainous terrain just 20 minutes drive from Liberia in the Guanacaste region of northern Costa Rica.
Borinquen Mountain Resort Hotel is unique for its natural hot springs including a natural sauna and steam room, thermo mineral pools and mud baths. The Borinquen Resort offers various private villas, bungalows and junior suites. All the suites and villas have a rustic charm with modern amenities for additional comfort.
The rooms and villas are also equiped with balconies, each with spectacular mountain and sunset views. The climate is especially comfoting as it is a pleasant mix of Guanacastes dry heat and the mountain fresh air.
The Borinquen Resort also has fully equipped stables for horse back riding adventures and has two restaurants on the grounds, Restaurant La Carreta and Rancho El Yugo which feature a nice variety of cuisine using fresh local ingredients.
