Bell’ italia Restaurante is a great little Italian Restaurant in Escazú, San José. Bell’italia is located on the corner of Comercial Paco. The restaurant has a Italian bistro style decor atmosphere on the inside and a patio front that faces the parking lot and main drive in San Rafael de Escazú.
The menu of Bell’ italia Restaurante is full of gourmet classic and authentic Italian and Mediterranean dishes. The food is home prepared in the tradition of Italian restaurants. All their pastas of ravioli, panzerotti, tagliatelle, tagliolini and other cuts are all handmade at the restaurant. Bell’Italia is also a pasta shop, where you can purchase the handmade pasta to take home if you are not dining in.
Owners of Bell’italia Regis Molina (the chef) and Mr. Maurizio Gallo, have produced a very fine and enjoyable restaurant experience. The lasagna at Bell’italia is highly recommended. Bell Italia also has a great wine selection.
You can also enjoy a drink and tapas at their wine bar next door, aptly name La Piola Italian Lounge Bar.
