1910 Restaurant
1910 Restaurant opened its doors in 1998 and still today remains a firm favorite with the locals due to its delicious and authentic ‘tipico’ Costa Rican Cuisine.
The restaurant also commemorates those who lost their lives in the 1910 earthquake, in naming their restaurant after the tragic year 1910, building their restaurant from the wood of the houses that were demolished in the earth quake and also adorning their walls with over 100 photographs of the after-event to pay tribute to the 1500 Costa Ricans who lost their lives on that fateful day, May 4th 1910 in Cartago.
