Great News for Costa Rica: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are Coming!

An announcement was made yesterday by the retail giants, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts INC., that they are to open 10 shops in Costa Rica over the next 5 years.

Dan Beem, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts’ Senior Vice President and President – International said in his statement, “Costa Rica’s rapid market growth and consumer demand for sweet treats makes this the perfect time for Krispy Kreme to expand in the country”.

If you have never heard of or tasted a Krispy Doughnut, then you are in for a real treat!  As managing director, Miguel Hernandez sums them up perfectly, “Once people try our doughnuts, they will not believe how long they have lived without having a freshly made Original Glazed® doughnut.”

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts was founded in 1937 and has since become a global retailer, predominantly known for it´s signature Original Glazed® doughnut.   This high-quality, freshly made dough of deliciousness is served with great-tasting coffee and it will most certainly go down well in Costa Rica with the Tico´s loving their sweet confections.

The Company already have more than 1,000 retail shops in 27 countries and have raise millions of dollars with their non-profit fund raising program for many in-need charities from around the world.
