CROCODILES GALORE!  FIND THESE AWESOME CREATURES EN-ROUTE TO JACÓ, COSTA RICA!

WATCH THIS AMAZING VIDEO……

Take the highway 34, along the stretch that leads from San José to Jacó and through the small town of Tárcoles.  Park your car up just past a group of restaurants by the roadside, before the bridge over the Tárcoles River.  As you walk towards the stretch, be prepared for an awesome sight!!  There below, and luckily, at a safe enough distance, you will be guaranteed to see a vast family of one of the largest crocodiles roaming this planet, the American Crocodile.  Reaching up to 15 feet in length, the males reside by the shore protecting the nursery built by the females.

Crocodiles date back 200 million years from their prehistoric ancestors and are in the top ten deadliest creatures known to man.

Take a look at the video and be inspired to get over there on your next visit to the Central Pacific Coast…..but a word of warning: do not think to swim across the river!  One 32 year old man did in May 2014 and was quickly devoured by the Crocs!
