Buena Tierra Organic Market and Café
Buena Tierra Café and Organic Market was one of the first healthy food café options and organic markets established in Escazú back in 2009. All products sold in the market use organic produce.
Open for breakfast and lunch, the menu at Buena Tierra offers a variety of sandwiches, cheeses, and pastries as well as a great selection of healthy smoothies, deluxe coffees and teas. The café is small and charming with only a few tables and the atmosphere is relaxed as the food is prepared with care in attempt to make customers feel at home for a break or to take time out from the daily hustle. As the space is small, the windows open up so guests can enjoy the warm Costa Rican breeze while overlooking central Escazú.
A must try recommendation from Buena Tierra Café is their stuffed pitas, including their most popular “Caprese” which is a pita of tomato, mozzarella and home made pesto sauce.
From Monday to Friday, Buena Tierra has daily specials which include a soup to start and a main course served which is usually served with salad, rice and beans.
